Mopane Bush Lodge is a tranquil bush retreat nestling in the mopane bushveld in the Limpopo Valley. It is situated on Mapesu Nature Reserve, a 6000-hectare property adjacent to the Mapungubwe National Park & World Heritage Site. It has 8 luxury secluded twin-bedded thatched chalets, each situated in its own kraal with en-suite bathroom, exclusive veranda and additional outdoor shower. For your convenience there is a tea/coffee station in every chalet. The chalets are the ideal setting for an immensely relaxing bush experience.
There is a bar & lapa overlooking a swimming pool. All accommodation is fully catered with excellent cuisine served in the spacious open dining room, lapa, around a fire in the boma under the stars or in the bush. Enjoy personal attentive service of the owners.
Mopane Bush Lodge is located on Mapesu Nature Reserve, a working game farm, which is a safe environment for walking, birding, cycling and bush drives. There are many attractions in the adjacent area and Mopane Bush Lodge arranges and carries out trips to them on behalf of our guests.
