Where we are located:
Located only 1 km from the Kruger National Park, in Phalaborwa, Sefapane Lodge & Safaris offers a luxury home base to stay, from where to explore the famous game park and all the highlights of the Limpopo and Mpumalanga Province. Large indigenous trees and beautiful tropical gardens make Sefapane Lodge & Safaris a green oasis amidst the typical bushveld of the Limpopo Province. Birding is excellent throughout the lodge and specifically at the rustic dam. The luxury 4-star lodge is owner managed and consists of 31 fully serviced, traditional ‘African style’ thatched rondavels. All rondavels are privately situated with a veranda to sit and enjoy the gardens. The rondavels have en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, mini fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. The new Sefapane Estate will be completed in 2006 consisting of 11 beautiful, luxury safari homes in African style situated around the dam, offering ultimate comfort and privacy. The splendid freshwater swimming pool with a sunken bar is positioned amidst abundant tropical gardens, next to the excellent a la carte restaurant. The Indaba lounge offers a place to watch television or read a book and can be used for functions. The lodge operates a wide range of safaris within the Kruger National Park and offers excursions and activities in Limpopo and Mpumalanga guided by experienced qualified guides. Full Day-, evening-, walking- and river safaris are offered daily, as well as excursions into the local villages, to the Panorama Route or Tzaneen and Magoebaskloof. The well-known 18-holes Hans Merensky Golf Course plus the centre of Phalaborwa is only a few minutes drive away from Sefapane Lodge.
